Brandy Introduces ‘Put It Down’ In DC; ‘Two Eleven’ Pushed Back… Again?
Brandy’s “Put It Down”
has been a slow burner. It isn’t making much noise on the charts, and
critics answered the risky single with mixed reviews. Aside from tweets,
she hasn’t done much promo for it. Last night, she performed the song,
sans Chris Brown, at DC’s Howard Theatre for the first time. The “vocal
bible” spiced up her show with some intense choreography and a lot of energy. In her own words: “I can shake my booty, too!”
Meanwhile, RatedRNB is reporting that fans will have to wait a bit longer for Two Eleven. 93.9 WKYS hosted the Brandy event, where she allegedly announced her album is due out on October 2nd, not August 28th.
