2 Chainz & The-Dream Release New Videos – Extremely Blessed & Wake Me When It’s Over

2 Chainz, who is surely riding high due to his Grammy nomination, has released a video for “Extremely Blessed,” a The-Dream-assisted single from his Based On A T.R.U. Story album. Neither artist appear in the video, but a story about a mother who works as a stripper to support her daughter is told. Think Wale’s “Ambitious Girl” with a dead-beat dad twist.

Meanwhile, The-Dream has re-packaged his 1977 project for a commercial release. He has released a visual accompaniment for “Wake Me When It’s Over,” a standout from the mixtape. The video follows the concept of the song–Dream is in a tumultuous relationship with a hostile woman that he loves dearly. 1977 is due out on December 18 via Radio Killa/Def Jam.
