Trey Songz Grabs First No. 1 Album With ‘Chapter V’ | Billboard Blast

It’s finally Trey Day on the Billboard Charts. Trey Songz finally scores one for R&B in nabbing his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 Chart with 135,000 copies of Chapter V scanned. While it’s down from his previous album Passion, Pain, & Pleasure – which moves 240,000 in it’s first week – it’s still accomplishment and a testament to the career growth of the crooner. DJ Khaled’s seventh album Kiss The Ring debuts within the Top 5 itself, making it his own highest peaking album at #4 with 41,000 sold.
