Lil Wayne Released From Hospital

Young Money president Mack Maine tweets the good news

After a six-day hospitalization stay that caused TMZ to report, and then retract, the issuance of last rites, Lil Wayne has been released from the hospital, says Young Money president Mack Maine.
The rapper and label exec tweeted Monday night, "Thanks to Cedar Sinai for everything!!! @LilTunechi has been officially been released and is headed home....God is great."
Cash Money Records co-founder and Wayne's mentor Birdman gave a similar update, tweeting, "God Bless.my son just release frm hospital.thanks 4 all tha luv.YMCMB.Richgang"
Birdman called into Hot 97 on Monday to tell DJ Angie Martinez that the hospitalization stay was due to a seizure, but not drug-related, as select outlets have speculated.
Perhaps to divert attention away from the issue and back to music, Birdman and Mack Maine recently released new song "Tapout" with Weezy, Future and Nicki Minaj.
While celebs like T.I. and Snoop Dogg have voiced their support, last we heard from Wayne (maybe) was a tweet stating, "I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love" Friday evening.
